Careful Curation
Rest assured, delicate touches like hand dyed silk ribbons and tiny ferns tucked into napkins are just standard operating procedure around here.
I’ll spend hours creating a carefully curated collection of tabletop items just for you.
Soft colors like sage green, blush pink, butter yellow, lilac, and periwinkle will tie in perfectly with the old-fashioned floral patterns on the plates.
Glassware
For glassware, you can choose crystal that sparkles like diamonds, goblets that glow in a rich rose gold hue, or clear ones etched with ethereal flower designs for a real-life fairytale vibe.
Napkins made of pure cotton or linen will be soft to the touch and actually work as a napkin should. (Unlike some silly ones made of polyester that just slip off your lap constantly.)
Vintage silverware, clean of course but not super polished, will add a touch of relaxed elegance. I mean, nobody wants to be worrying about which fork to use, right? Just the delight of using beautiful, vintage pieces that have been included in celebrations like yours for decades.
Sure, you could try and thrift all this yourself, but I’ve spent years doing that so why not just use mine? Plus, I’ll deliver, set up, tear down, and wash everything afterwards.
You won’t have to lift a finger!
Flowers
Besides enjoying the beauty and charm of vintage place settings, you can also have tables overflowing with fresh flowers, picked just for you from my garden.
Depending on the season, these could be lily of the valley, garden roses, peonies, cosmos, dahlias, or any number of other cottage flowers or wildflowers to create an enchanted scene right before your eyes. Any flowers I don’t have in my own garden, I’ll buy from local flower farmers so you can trust they’ll be fresh and not doused with preservatives to be flown across the world for your wedding day.
Dainty bouquets in mismatched bud vases, old milk bottles, or even teacups will add to the ambience of your celebration.
I promise to create florals for you that won’t overwhelm the tablescape or, more importantly, block your guests’ ability to look into each other’s eyes. Whether it’s through laughter or tears, I know you’ll all want to see each other clearly on this unforgettable day.
Little Extras
Extra things you can add to your celebration: cozy quilts for relaxing on the grass or at the beach, picnic baskets for snacks, candle lanterns, a dessert table with a woodcut cake stand or tiered trays for your sweets, or extra tables and chairs for your guests. I’ll even bring a croquet set if you want to play lawn games!
