Good News About Sustainable Weddings! The Sustainable Wedding Show is here

Announcing Seattle’s only sustainable wedding show, taking place on Sunday, April 6 at Pickering Barn in Issaquah from 2:00-5:00 PM!

Join me for tips, tricks, and tons of inspiration to create a wedding that’s true to your vision and kind to the planet!

The Sustainable Wedding Show is produced by Emerald Hour, an organization I co-founded a few years ago to tackle the issue of environmental harm caused by waste in the wedding and event industry.

If you’re not familiar with the problem, here are a couple of sad statistics:  weddings in America are known to produce 400+ pounds of waste and have a carbon footprint similar to a family of four in a year. Yikes. You can see the need for a change, right?

Good news:  Sustainable weddings don’t sacrifice style, joy, or the sweet details that make your wedding uniquely yours.

From choosing an eco-conscious venue, to working with floral designers who use seasonal flowers, and knowledgeable planners who prioritize sustainability, not to mention using some gorgeous vintage party rentals (!) there are plenty of impactful choices that can make a big difference without adding stress to your planning.
