Announcing Seattle’s only sustainable wedding show, taking place on Sunday, April 6 at Pickering Barn in Issaquah from 2:00-5:00 PM!
Join me for tips, tricks, and tons of inspiration to create a wedding that’s true to your vision and kind to the planet!
The Sustainable Wedding Show is produced by Emerald Hour, an organization I co-founded a few years ago to tackle the issue of environmental harm caused by waste in the wedding and event industry.
If you’re not familiar with the problem, here are a couple of sad statistics: weddings in America are known to produce 400+ pounds of waste and have a carbon footprint similar to a family of four in a year. Yikes. You can see the need for a change, right?
Good news: Sustainable weddings don’t sacrifice style, joy, or the sweet details that make your wedding uniquely yours.
From choosing an eco-conscious venue, to working with floral designers who use seasonal flowers, and knowledgeable planners who prioritize sustainability, not to mention using some gorgeous vintage party rentals (!) there are plenty of impactful choices that can make a big difference without adding stress to your planning.

More good news: This isn’t your typical wedding show. Come experience stunning wedding designs inspired by facets of the Pacific Northwest such as water, mountains, forest and flowers.
Enjoy a creative environment where you can discuss your vision with wedding vendors and attend our mini-talks to learn how to make eco-friendly choices so your wedding can be both beautiful and sustainable.
You can get a professional photo taken, grab a macaron from James Street Cakes, enjoy delicious snacks from Seattle Spreads and sip a signature beverage from Kitsap Bartending Services.
We’ll even have a Coffee Happy Hour with free coffee provided by Joca Coffee.
Even more good news: you can enter to win one of our amazing giveaways valued at more than $5000!
Grand Prize #1 – A fabulous getaway for two nights at The Lodge at Evergreen Gardens in Ferndale with a table setting and sparkling cider by Cranberry Sky Heirloom Rentals, centerpiece by Humble Bouquet, and cupcakes by James St. Cakes.
Grand Prize #2 (aka the one I’m participating in!) One-hour photoshoot in West Seattle with Skyewater Photo + Film with a luxury vintage picnic provided by me complete with delicious charcuterie and sweets by Amores y Sabores Catering and a bottle of local sparkling wine donated by Kitsap Bartending Services.
Other fabulous prizes include a one-hour engagement photo session, a one-hour adventure photo or video session on Whidbey Island or in the Anacortes area, a pair of handmade bud vases customized with your initials & wedding date, a luxury mobile spray tan, and an extended wedding dress appointment for you and up to 7 guests with sparkling beverages, PLUS 10% off your dream dress, and more!

In addition to all these goodies we’ll have a scavenger hunt to help increase your chances of winning!
